Only a few slots remain for the Morning Pointe Foundation’s 10th Annual Mastering Memory Care Golf Tournament, happening Monday, May 5, at the scenic Lookout Mountain Club (1730 Wood Nymph Trail).

About the Golf Tournament

This signature event supports scholarships for students pursuing careers in nursing, physical or occupational therapy, social work, culinary arts or similar professions. The Morning Pointe Foundation nonprofit partners with local colleges and universities, including Chattanooga State Community College, TCAT Chattanooga, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Cleveland State Community College, and Dalton State College.

Twenty-eight teams will compete. The day kicks off with registration and breakfast at 7:30 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Participants will enjoy a day of spirited competition, including hole-in-one, longest drive, closest-to-the-hole, and putting contests. A variety of prizes will be awarded or up for bid at the silent auction, each generously donated by local businesses. The day will close out with an awards luncheon at 1 p.m.

“This tournament is more than just a great day on a beautiful green—it’s an opportunity to invest in the future of senior care,” said Miranda Perez, Morning Pointe Foundation executive director. “Every participant helps support a student working toward a career in nursing, rehabilitation therapy, social work, or other careers that serve the community. We are so grateful for the Chattanooga area’s continued support year after year. We look forward to making our 10th year even more impactful.”
