Danville, KY— February 10, 2024—Creativity and problem-solving took center stage at Morning Pointe of Danville Assisted Living, where residents recently gathered for a Hobby Fair celebrating hands-on talent and original thinking.
Among the many creative submissions, resident Dalton Hendren earned top honors for his inventive technical design, the Octapus — a versatile 8-in-1 device created to serve multiple practical functions. The project stood out for its thoughtful engineering and ingenuity, sparking conversation and admiration from fellow residents and team members.
The Hobby Fair showcased a wide range of creative projects, highlighting how residents continue to design, build, and innovate in assisted living. Beyond the displays themselves, the event fostered meaningful connections as residents shared ideas, exchanged feedback, and took pride in the passions that continue to shape their lives.

The Hobby Fair was part of Morning Pointe’s Happy for Hobby theme, celebrating the talents, interests, and lifelong passions that continue to bring residents joy and purpose.
