Morning Pointe Senior Living Celebrates National Caregiver Day
Chattanooga, TN—February 20, 2026 — On National Caregiver Day, Morning Pointe Senior Living is turning the spotlight on the people who quietly hold everything together, its caregivers.
They are the first to respond to a call light.
The calm presence during uncertainty.
The steady hands, listening ears, and familiar faces that residents trust.
At Morning Pointe Senior Living communities, caregivers are more than frontline staff. They are companions, encouragers, and problem solvers. They are the people residents greet each morning and the ones families call when they need reassurance. They are often the first to celebrate a small victory and the first to offer comfort during a hard moment.
“You are the glue,” the company shared in its National Caregiver Day appreciation video. “The ones who hold everything together, often without ever asking for credit.”
For residents, caregivers become something deeply personal, best friends, new friends, even honorary granddaughters and grandsons. They are the welcoming hand that says, You’re safe here. They stand beside families as they navigate aging with someone they love and remind them they are not walking that road alone.
“Caregivers are the heart of who we are,” said Greg Vital, co-founder of Morning Pointe Senior Living. “Their compassion, consistency, and commitment to our residents and families are what define our communities. We can build beautiful buildings and create strong systems, but it is our caregivers who bring warmth, dignity, and life to every day.”
Caregiving requires heart, but it also requires skill. Many Morning Pointe caregivers begin their careers right out of community college with a simple desire to help. From there, they grow. Some pursue additional certifications as Certified Nursing Assistants or Medication Aides. Others continue their education to become Licensed Practical Nurses or step into leadership roles within the organization.
Morning Pointe Senior Living supports that growth through ongoing training, tuition reimbursement, and opportunities for advancement, reinforcing the belief that caregiving is not just a job, but a meaningful healthcare career.
For nearly 30 years, Morning Pointe Senior Living has built its reputation on compassion, consistency, and quality care. Behind that reputation are the caregivers who show up every single day, ready to serve, ready to listen, and ready to lead with heart.
On National Caregiver Day, Morning Pointe Senior Living extends heartfelt gratitude to its caregivers across all communities for being the difference in the lives of residents and families.
