A Testimonial

Jenny Lodmell is a 100-year-old resident at Morning Pointe of Frankfort, Kentucky. She is also a World War II veteran who served in the Navy WAVES!

Jenny and her daughter-in-law, Carol, recently talked about their experience with the personal care/senior living community.

After Jenny’s husband, Russell, passed away, Jenny moved to live with her son Jimmy and daughter-in-law Carol in Woodford County, Kentucky. Eventually, the couple found that Jenny needed more care. Jenny moved to Morning Pointe of Frankfort in August 2013.

“I have a nice apartment,” Jenny said. “It’s a very nice place for older people. There’s no steps, and you can walk outside. There’s a great big porch with rocking chairs, and everybody here seems to work together.”

Carol chose the community after doing online research and considering that the campus was not far from their family home.

“They have a good reputation, and they have been wonderful to Jenny and all of the residents,” Carol shared. “I’ve always had a good working relationship with them. They are all very professional.”

At 100 and enjoying life, Jenny gave this advice for longevity: “Take care of yourself. Eat sensibly, and don’t take any crazy chances. If your body stays strong, usually your mind will too.”

Jenny, we are proud to have you as part of our Morning Pointe family!
