A simple way to celebrate Mother’s Day with local shopping and connection

DANVILLE, Ky. —April 14, 2026— A relaxed and welcoming way to celebrate Mother’s Day is coming to Danville as The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence invites the community to its Mother’s Day Stop N Shop on Friday, May 1, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Open to the public, the event will feature a variety of local vendors offering unique and thoughtful gift options, making it easy for guests to find something special for the mothers and grandmothers in their lives. A food truck will also be on-site, giving attendees the chance to turn the outing into a casual lunch with friends.

The event will take place at The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, located at 1375 Perryville Rd in Danville.

Designed to be both enjoyable and easygoing, the Stop N Shop offers a chance to support local businesses while spending meaningful time together in a warm, community-centered setting.
