Morning Pointe of Brentwood, Tennessee, recently named Lisa Melby as its new executive director.
In this role, Melby oversees daily operations at the assisted living and memory care community located at 1522 Wilson Pike.
Melby comes to Morning Pointe from Good Samaritan Society Loveland Village in Loveland, Colorado, where she served as senior director. She has 34 years of experience in senior living, all with the Good Samaritan Society company.
“I’ve always had a natural attraction to working with older people,” said Melby. “I love it here – I think the residents and staff are outstanding, and I’ve felt very welcomed here at Morning Pointe.”
Tonie Venable, vice president of Morning Pointe Senior Living’s Cumberland Region, added: “Lisa brings many years of experience in our industry to Morning Pointe of Brentwood, along with a passion for impacting the quality of life for seniors and their families. We are excited to have her join our team and build relationships with our residents, families and our local community.”
Originally from South Dakota, Melby has a master’s and bachelor’s degree in health and hospital services administration. She currently resides in Nolensville with her husband, Kyle. They have two grown children. In her free time, Melby enjoys running and anything sports-related.
