Seasonally on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Happy Valley Farms delivers fresh, locally grown produce and other products to our Happy Valley communities, supporting our Farm-to-Table program with fresh ingredients sourced close to home.
It is a small, everyday connection with a larger impact. A local farm is supporting a local senior living community, residents are enjoying food grown in their own neighborhood, and Morning Pointe’s commitment to Farm-to-Table dining is being put into practice in a way residents can see, taste and experience.
“Having Happy Valley Farms so close to us is a wonderful opportunity for our residents,” said Justin Leiter, Director of Dining Operations for Morning Pointe Senior Living. “We’re able to bring in fresh, seasonal produce from right here in the community and incorporate it into the meals we serve. It’s something that adds a little extra connection to the dining experience and gives our residents another way to enjoy what’s growing around them.”
For residents, that connection goes beyond what is on the plate. Partnerships with local businesses create opportunities to stay connected to the people, places and traditions that make their community feel like home.

The partnership also reflects the continued growth of Happy Valley Farms. While the property has deep roots in local agriculture and equestrian life, it has evolved into a destination where people can gather, celebrate, experience the outdoors and enjoy the land. Its growing role in the community makes its relationship with Morning Pointe a natural extension of that mission: bringing people together through the land and what it produces.
“After acquiring the property from Greg Vital three years ago, our top priority has been continuing its legacy into the 21st century,” said Regina and Jim Anthony, owners of Happy Valley Farms. “It is an honor to steward this beautiful property and restore and preserve it for the future while hearkening to its past. Our mission toward combining agriculture and hospitality is a cornerstone of who we are at Happy Valley Farms. Providing seasonal produce to our community at large, as well as our wonderful neighbors at Morning Pointe, is a large and important part of our engagement strategy.”
Morning Pointe co-founder Greg A. Vital, who previously owned Happy Valley Farms and helped begin its revitalization, said the farm’s continued evolution is about creating a future that remains connected to its past.
“The greatest legacy at Happy Valley is not simply the land itself, but the people and community that have always been connected to it,” Vital said. “We want to honor what this property has meant to generations while creating new ways for it to serve the community today. Seeing produce grown here make its way to our neighbors at Morning Pointe is a wonderful example of that connection continuing.”
