A “herd” of residents from The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Chattanooga (TN) can’t wait to receive their free entrees from Chick-fil-A! In honor of Cow Appreciation Day, an annual promotion event during which Chick-fil-A franchises nationwide offer free entrees to anyone who visits the restaurant dressed as a cow, residents from the memory care community made a trip to their local Chick-fil-A in costume, ready to partake in the fun and free chicken. “Cow Appreciation Day has become as much of a Morning Pointe tradition as it is a Chick-fil-A tradition,” says Lantern program director Danielle Bryan with a laugh. “Chick-fil-A was so hospitable to and accommodating of our Lantern residents. We had reserved seating and special photo-op time with their cow mascot! We had a wonderful time and are so grateful to Chick-fil-A for making it happen.”
