A First Look Inside Happy Valley’s New Memory Care Community

Rossville, GA— February 25, 2026—In Happy Valley, walls are going up, and details are coming together as this new memory care community begins to take shape.

The newest addition to Morning Pointe Senior Living campuses is steadily transforming from construction site to thoughtfully designed home. Now, for the first time, interior spaces inside The Lantern at Morning Pointe Happy Valley are beginning to tell the story.

Recent interior progress reveals gathering spaces that will soon be filled with conversation, creativity, and connection. Life enrichment areas are taking shape where crafts and other creative projects will take place, supporting cognitive engagement and meaningful daily routines.

Multiple comfortable sitting areas are being framed to provide smaller, more intimate gathering spots for residents and families. A welcoming front porch gathering space is underway to provide a familiar, homelike setting where residents can relax, visit with loved ones, and enjoy meaningful moments together.

Each space is being designed with purpose, centered around comfort, familiarity, and engagement.

Located at 2937 Happy Valley Rd. in Rossville, the Happy Valley Lantern is scheduled to open in early 2026 and is now scheduling tours for families interested in learning more.

More Than Long-Term Care

In addition to long-term residency, Morning Pointe also offers short-term care for individuals recovering from a hospital stay, as well as respite care to support full-time caregivers who need time to rest, travel, or manage other responsibilities. These flexible options allow families to access specialized memory care when they need it most.

Lantern vs. Lamplight: Stage-Appropriate Care Under One Roof

The Happy Valley Lantern will feature two distinct program areas designed to provide stage-appropriate support. This two-level model allows residents to receive care that aligns with their current needs while remaining within one specialized memory care community — offering continuity and familiarity as needs evolve.

The Lamplight Program

  1. Designed for residents in the early to moderate stages of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia
  2. Features a large, secure, and safe environment
  3. Offers a more active setting for residents who enjoy engaging in lively activities and social interaction

The Lantern Program

  1. Tailored for residents in the more advanced stages of Alzheimer’s and dementia
  2. Focuses on individual interests, life experiences, and personal strengths
  3. Provides a smaller, more intimate environment designed to be calming for residents who may be easily overstimulated

Morning Pointe associates are specially trained to support residents living with memory loss while also offering guidance and reassurance to family members navigating the journey. The Lantern works closely with medical partners and uses an interdisciplinary approach to address changing behaviors, evolving clinical needs, and overall well-being.

As construction continues, anticipation is building for the grand opening and the opportunity to welcome residents and families into a space intentionally created for safety, dignity, and meaningful daily life.
