Morning Pointe of Frankfort (KY) life enrichment director Vanessa Damron and housekeeper Denice Lofton show their purple pride during the Alzheimer’s Association’s annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s at the University of Kentucky. Residents, associates, and volunteers from the personal care community joined with participants from Morning Pointe communities throughout the greater Lexington area to raise awareness of Alzheimer’s disease and fund research for a cure. “More than 5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease, including our neighbors at The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Frankfort. It was an honor to be able to show our support for a cause that is so dear to our hearts,” Damron says.
