Jack Wise, the pianist who won the Franklin, Tennessee, Seniors Got Talent show in 2023, has been named Best of the Best of Seniors Got Talent 2023 season.

The Morning Pointe Foundation invited the public to vote on their favorite winner from the organization’s four Seniors Got Talent showcases: Chattanooga, Franklin, and Knoxville, Tennessee, as well as Lexington, Kentucky.

Wise’s original composition “Live Life More” came in first place in the Best of the Best contest, which took place from Jan. 8-31 and raised funds for the Foundation in its work of providing caregiver support and student scholarships.

Wise has been playing the piano since he was 10, and he created his first composition as a teenager. In his 30s, he was a church pianist and was active with music groups for youth and adult retreats. Later, he became an independent artist focused on songwriting and composing original piano songs. He has self-produced 4 albums.

“I was shocked,” said Wise. “I’m just very thankful and appreciative. It’s hard to express my gratitude to Morning Pointe for organizing the event. It goes to show that we may get older, but we still play our instruments and sing and find joy in that. It also means even more because those votes weren’t free – I’m thankful to those who voted and made a contribution for a good cause.”

Besides winning the title, Wise will receive four tickets to a Seniors Got Talent show of his choice and have his full performance posted across all of Morning Pointe Senior Living’s social media pages. He will also have an exclusive winner interview video produced.

“Our Seniors Got Talent fans have spoken, and Jack’s piano performance is clearly a favorite,” said Miranda Perez, Morning Pointe Foundation executive director. “Congratulations again to Jack and to each of our show winners, and thank you to every person who voted and supported our Foundation.”
