(November 10, 2021) – Debra Calle has been named Executive Director at Morning Pointe of Danville. Calle will oversee daily operations at the senior living campus, which includes both personal care and Alzheimer’s memory care. Morning Pointe Senior Living, a Chattanooga, Tenn.-based senior healthcare services company, owns and manages 35 Morning Pointe assisted living, personal care and Alzheimer’s memory care communities in five southeastern states. Morning Pointe was founded in 1996 by Tennessee healthcare entrepreneurs Greg A. Vital and Franklin Farrow.
“I am pleased to welcome Debra into the executive director role at Morning Pointe of Danville,” said Heather Tussing, chief operating officer for Morning Pointe Senior Living. “I have no doubt that her wealth of senior living knowledge and experience will help further the tradition of excellence here.”
Calle joins Morning Pointe with twelve years of experience in senior healthcare. She began her career in sales for a senior living facility in Colorado before transitioning into an Executive Director role, which she has held across several states. Ms. Calle has historical experience building successful, vibrant senior living communities and is excited to join the leadership team at Morning Pointe of Danville.
“I love learning the life stories of our residents and the love that they have for their families. My mother had dementia and I walked this journey with my siblings for several years,” said Calle. “I am passionate about giving back to those who sacrificed so much for us to have the life we live.”
In her spare time, Calle enjoys RV camping and traveling with her husband and dog, Stella, and spending time with their children and grandchildren.
