Morning Pointe of Louisville (KY) resident Joe Schneider plays a game of Crazy Eights with a group of students from Beargrass Christian Church’s summer mission camp. Together, the students and the personal care community’s residents exercised, played noodle ball, and squared off in games of cards and checkers. To close out the day, the students entertained the residents by performing a song with boomwhackers. “We had a great time!” exclaims Morning Pointe life enrichment director Lisa Hagerty. “Our residents love getting to spend time with young visitors, and both age groups get to build important social skills by interacting with one another.”
