RICHMOND, KY — The harmonious sound of bells was music to the ears of Morning Pointe of Richmond residents who welcomed a visit from the Noteworthy Bell Choir from Irvine United Methodist Church, under the direction of Amy Hughes.

The group includes members from Cedar Grove Methodist Church, Wisemantown United Methodist Church and Emmanual Baptist Church in Stanton, and has been playing together for about 10 years.

The seniors at the personal care community had never heard a bell choir before, but new memories of the group’s beautiful melodies now echo in their hearts.

Morning Pointe invites musical groups and choirs of all kinds to share their talents with the residents as part of the life enrichment program.
