LEXINGTON, KY (November 16, 2017) – Morning Pointe of Lexington-East welcomed guest speaker Virginia Bell, MSW, founder of the Best Friends™ Approach, who shared her personal journey and the development of the dementia-centered method of caregiving. Bell co-authored the book The Best Friends Approach to Dementia Care, and has lectured at national and international conferences and published journal articles and book chapters on Alzheimer’s disease.
Guests received signed copies of Bell’s book during the author’s visit to the personal care and Alzheimer’s memory care community. Morning Pointe partners with innovative leaders in memory care as they deliver new methods to redefine care as part of the life enrichment and Meaningful Day programs.
