CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Morning Pointe of Chattanooga at Shallowford partnered with various healthcare organizations to host the eighth annual Memory Fair at the assisted living community.

The event, sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association, featured keynote speaker Terry A. Melvin, M.D., who shared her insight from 20 years of dementia care experience with guests. Melvin discussed the condition’s diagnosis and approaches from the first signs to the final stages.

Expert panelists from six local senior healthcare companies were also present at the event, including The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Collegedale, Pharmacy HomeCare, Guardian Home Care, Senior Helpers, Hearth Hospice and Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel, P.C.

Morning Pointe partners with the greater community to offer caregiver resources and educational programming to address the complex needs of Alzheimer’s memory care and its various stages.
