With warm temperatures and sunny skies, summer is the perfect time to enjoy the great outdoors! Taking advantage of the beautiful weather, the residents of The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Louisville (KY) journeyed to Falls of the Ohio State Park in Clarksville, Indiana to appreciate the splendor of nature. While at the park, the residents of the memory care community explored some gentle trails and took in some stunning vistas.
“The park has some of the most beautiful…views near the waterfront. We had such a great time. Our residents plan to attend again soon with lunch [and] ice cream,” says Derek Combs, the Lantern Program Coordinator at The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Louisville.
