Morning Pointe of Knoxville (TN) residents Joan Bachman, Jimmye Lou Smith, MaryAnne Cofer, Gus George, Jamie Jeffords, Norman Watson, Helen McKinney, Melba Hutcherson, Helen Kurtz, and volunteer Andrea Antone get in touch with their cultured sides at the new “Design by Time” exhibit at the Knoxville Museum of Art. “Our residents loved getting to visit ‘Design by Time!’ They couldn’t make up their minds as to what their favorite piece was, although the piece that recreated the Mona Lisa using spools of different colored thread was a definite favorite,” says Morning Pointe life enrichment director Pat Anderson. “The Knoxville natives in our group were glad to see the museum hosting such a high-profile exhibit and the residents who moved to Morning Pointe from out of town were amazed that we could explore this museum for free! We can’t wait to go back in the fall!”
