FRANKLIN, Ind. — Morning Pointe of Franklin residents revved their engines for a trip to Rascals in Whiteland as the assisted living community seniors had a blast being behind the wheel of go-karts.
As part of the Life Enrichment Program, Morning Pointe takes residents on their favorite outings to reminisce on past activities.
Chris Phillips, Morning Pointe resident, said it was the first time she had been behind the wheel in a very long time. While she and other residents no longer drive, they enjoyed putting their pedals to the metal, riding around with smiles on their faces.
