Morning Pointe of Chattanooga at Shallowford (TN) residents John Mollica, Lillian Samuel, Maxine Spector, and Sara Stanley show off the impatiens and marigolds that they planted in individual clay pots. “After the seeds begin to grow, we’ll will be able to transplant them into larger pots,” explains Holly Holcomb, the life enrichment director at the assisted living community. “Many of our residents enjoy gardening, and it’s a hobby we certainly try to encourage. Between potted plants and our community flower beds and vegetable garden, it’s an activity that everyone can participate in while making a positive contribution to our community!”
