October 2015- Lexington, Kentucky– It’s a top priority all year long, raising funds for the local Alzheimer’s Association and this year Morning Pointe’ communities across the Lexington, Kentucky area set an all-time record, raising $15,880 for The Greater Kentucky and Southern Indiana Alzheimer’s Association.

The Morning Pointe Senior Living Communities in Lexington, Morning Pointe of Lexington, Morning Pointe of Lexington-East and The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence in Lexington, worked tirelessly in 2015 planning and executing a variety of events and projects to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.

The entire Morning Pointe team lends a helping hand however they can, whether it’s creating blankets, participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s or organizing additional fundraisers.

“Once again, this year has been an outstanding  year with incredible support from  residents, associates, family members and friends- each playing an important role in helping to raise money for the care, support and research of Alzheimer’s Disease,” said Morning Pointe of Lexington Senior  Executive Director Liz Chappell.

All three Morning Pointe Senior Living Communities in Lexington would like to thank everyone who participated throughout the year and the contributed efforts to fight Alzheimer’s and help find a cure.

Today, as many as 5.4 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s and nearly 11 million more act as caregivers for loved ones with the disease.  Morning Pointe’s contributions will help by advancing the Association’s efforts in Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
