Students from the North Middle School student council and Beta Club visited Morning Pointe of Lenoir City (TN) to spend some time with the assisted living community’s residents. Under the supervision of teachers Dee Morgan, Carla Thompson, and Allyson Matlock, the students decorated the residents’ doors for spring and played bingo with them. “We are so grateful for all of our student volunteers,” says life enrichment director Camie Entrekin. “The residents love to have young people in the building. It isn’t just an educational opportunity for the students—it’s an educational opportunity for the residents, too!”
