Emily Seger has been named the new executive director for Morning Pointe of Lexington Assisted Living located at 233 Ruccio Way.
In this role, Seger oversees daily operations at the assisted living community. She works with a team of directors, nurses, nursing assistants and other support staff to provide personalized care programs for residents and support for their families. She focuses on fostering meaningful relationships and experiences for residents as well as promoting their health, independence and well-being. In addition, she helps train, mentor and grow other Morning Pointe Senior Living associates in the field of senior living.
Seger has been working in senior living since 2017. She has a master’s degree in business and a bachelor’s degree in health care administration.
“I did a practicum at Morning Pointe of Lexington-East in college and loved it,” Seger shared. “I knew senior living was my calling. Having a job with purpose is more fulfillment than I could ask for in a career. I enjoy spending time with my residents. I am blessed to have a calling that is so meaningful.”
Originally from Springfield, Kentucky, Seger currently lives in Lexington. In her free time, she enjoys riding horses and spending time at the lake with her family.
