Seasoned healthcare professional Heather Tussing has been named executive vice president of operations for Morning Pointe Senior Living. In her new role, Ms. Tussing will be responsible for operations management of all Morning Pointe communities. With more than a decade of experience in the senior living industry, Ms. Tussing will continue Morning Pointe’s tradition of excellence.
“Heather is an industry veteran with a wealth of knowledge, front line experience, and compassion,” said Greg A. Vital, president of Morning Pointe Senior Living. “I know she will use her passion for others and the senior living skills she has acquired over years of experience to ensure Morning Pointe continues to provide seniors with excellent care and the highest quality of life.”
Morning Pointe Senior Living, a Chattanooga, Tennessee-based senior healthcare services company, is the developer, owner, and manager of 35 Morning Pointe Assisted Living and The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Memory Care Center of Excellence communities in five southeastern states.
Prior to joining Morning Pointe, Ms. Tussing served as vice president of assisted living operations for a national senior living company. She started her career in senior living as an executive director, and has held senior leadership roles in compliance, quality improvement, healthcare sales, and marketing through the years—making her well-suited to lead a strong commitment to quality care at Morning Pointe. Additionally, Ms. Tussing is an assisted living preceptor and holds certifications as an assisted living administrator in multiple states as well as dementia certifications including CDP, CADDCT, and Virtual Dementia Tour facilitator. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Kentucky.

A long-time resident of Florida, the Tussing family recently relocated to the Chattanooga area. When not at work, Ms. Tussing enjoys spending time with her family, as well as host of pastime activities like yoga, spin class, reading, hiking, traveling, and the beach.
