Morning Pointe of Calhoun to Host Alzheimer’s Mini Walk, Invites Community to Join the Fight Against Dementia

CALHOUN, Ga. (August 21, 2025) — Hope, healing, and community spirit will take center stage as Morning Pointe of Calhoun Assisted Living and Memory Care rallies the community for its Alzheimer’s Mini Walk on Saturday, August 23, at 10:00 AM at the Calhoun Recreation Center. More than just a walk, this inspiring event will bring neighbors, families, and friends together to honor loved ones, raise awareness, and support the Alzheimer’s Association’s mission to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementias.

Residents of Morning Pointe of Calhoun, alongside their families and dedicated volunteers, are leading the charge with excitement and anticipation. They are not only walking to support a cause close to their hearts, but also extending a heartfelt invitation to the greater Calhoun community to walk beside them. It’s a powerful opportunity to stand together, share stories, and shine a light on the strength of families touched by Alzheimer’s disease.

The Alzheimer’s Mini Walk will feature a community walk, local vendors, and opportunities to give back, with 100% of donations benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association. Every step taken and every dollar raised helps advance critical research, care programs, and advocacy efforts for the millions impacted by Alzheimer’s.
