Morning Pointe Senior Living recently named Sheryl Klein as regional vice president of its Cumberland Region.
As regional vice president, Klein oversees operations in 10 senior living communities in Middle Tennessee and Western Kentucky. These include Brentwood, Columbia, Spring Hill, Tullahoma, and Franklin, in Tennessee, and Louisville and Owensboro in Kentucky. She has a comprehensive background in senior living operations, with experience as a chief operating officer, senior vice president, executive vice president of operations and other leadership roles. She has worked in senior living for more than 30 years.
Klein has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and community and nonprofit leadership, as well as a nursing diploma. She began her caregiving career with hopes of making a difference in the lives of seniors and fellow caregivers.
“One of the greatest privileges this work provides is the ability to spread joy and build relationships with our associates, the residents, their friends and family,” said Klein. “This work allows me to have an impact on the lives of associates by helping them grow and understand how to create an experience of excellence for the residents and their fellow associates. Morning Pointe understands the needs of seniors, which is much more than clinical care – it is more wholistic and takes into consideration the entire experience, creating a vibrant community full of opportunities to elevate life to the next level.”
Klein lives in Ashville, Alabama. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, volunteering, college football and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter.
“Sheryl comes to us with an impressive background in senior living management and a caring and compassionate spirit that puts residents first,” said Franklin Farrow, Morning Pointe Senior Living co-founder and CEO. “She is already making a positive impact in our Cumberland Region, and we are glad to have her at Morning Pointe.”
