DANVILLE, KY — Pulling the heartstrings of his peers was John Hughes, resident at Morning Pointe of Danville, who played the fiddle for the seniors at the senior living and Alzheimer’s memory care community.

Janet Thacker, LPN, watches Hughes in awe as she listens to melodies recalled by memory. Kyle Bailey, volunteer, accompanies the resident on piano as Ellie Vandivier turns the pages of the songbook.

Music is a therapeutic experience at Morning Pointe, as residents enjoy being serenaded by sound as part of the life enrichment and Meaningful Day(tm) programs.
