April 24 is Administrative Professionals Day, and at Morning Pointe Senior Living, our business office managers, business office directors, receptionists, and home office associates play an important role not just in making our day-to-day business run smoothly, but also in creating a personal touch.
One great example of this is James Ford, business office director at Morning Pointe of Lenoir City, Tennessee, Assisted Living and its sister community, The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Lenoir City. He began his career with Morning Pointe of Lenoir City in 2016 as a cook. James became a resident assistant in 2017 and worked his way up to lead RA on second shift. He took the business office position in 2021.
James and assisted living resident Janie Amburn, 89, share a heartwarming Couch Conversation about what his assistance and friendship mean to her. They have been friends ever since he started working at Morning Pointe. Janie even attended James’ wedding in January of this year.
“I feel at ease – I can come to you about anything,” Janie said. “I appreciate all you have done for Morning Pointe since you have been here. You have made it truly a good place to live, and home… and that means everything – to make it feel like home.”
“I am super proud and honored to help all the residents, whether that’s with long-term care insurance, going over their monthly statements, or just having a one-on-one conversation,” James said.
Happy Administrative Professionals Day to James and to all our amazing and dedicated administrative professionals at Morning Pointe Senior Living!
