At Morning Pointe Senior Living communities, we know that family involvement is key to the health and happiness of our residents. From staying informed on daily activities to getting updates on your loved one’s well-being, we believe in keeping families engaged and connected. That’s why we’ve put multiple communication options in place, ensuring families feel supported, connected, and informed.

Open-Door Policy

Morning Pointe has an open-door policy that welcomes family members to visit their loved ones whenever possible. We encourage families to speak with our staff honestly about their experience, whether it is positive or they have concerns. Feedback is vital to providing the best service and environment for our residents and their families.

Personal Phone Calls

Our team understands the importance of real-time updates, especially when there is a change in a resident’s condition. If our staff notices any change in your loved one’s health, they will promptly reach out to you. We believe that sharing information on health and wellness changes is a vital part of providing peace of mind, allowing families to be proactive and informed about their loved ones’ well-being.

Text Messages

For updates that are both timely and brief, our communities also communicate via text messages. These messages may include reminders about special events or quick notes on anything families may need to know. We know how valuable these direct and timely updates can be for busy families.

Email

Sometimes, the convenience of email can be just what a family member needs to stay updated, especially for those who live farther away or have busy schedules. Our staff members are ready to provide updates or respond to any questions you may have via email. It’s a fast, effective way to communicate for both quick check-ins and more detailed updates.

Monthly Family Nights

We also host monthly Family Nights. Family members are invited to join their loved ones for a special dinner and themed program filled with activities everyone can enjoy. These evenings are a wonderful opportunity for families to spend quality time together while connecting with other residents, families, and our caring staff. From seasonal celebrations to creative themes that bring joy and laughter, Family Nights add an extra touch of excitement.

LifeLoop: Digital Access to Activities

LifeLoop is a powerful digital tool we use to enhance family communication by giving you direct insight into your loved one’s daily life. Through LifeLoop, family members can view the activities their loved ones participate in, ensuring a transparent and real-time connection. LifeLoop is accessible on various devices. Talk to an activities professional at your loved one’s community if you want to connect to LifeLoop.

Monthly Newsletters

Each month, families receive our community newsletter filled with exciting updates, important announcements, and a preview of upcoming events. It’s a great way for family members to stay in the loop on new programs, volunteer opportunities, and highlights from the past month. Our newsletters aim to keep you connected to the life and pulse of the community.

Activity Calendars

Every month, we prepare calendars that detail the upcoming activities, events, and special celebrations within the community. This calendar, available to residents and their families, provides an at-a-glance look at the diverse and engaging activities designed to enrich our residents’ lives. In the building, it is featured in print on the wall and on the digital display. It is also available on LifeLoop and on our community websites.

Social Media: Staying Engaged and Informed

To connect families beyond email and calls, Morning Pointe maintains active social media channels that serve as a bridge between communities and families. Our community Facebook pages are great resources for seeing snapshots of events, resident spotlights, and community news.

Moreover, Morning Pointe Senior Living’s company pages on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and LinkedIn offer updates and engaging content, providing families with a broader look into the lives of residents across our communities. From video highlights to educational resources on senior care, these channels are here to keep you involved and informed.

Encouraging Family Involvement for Higher Quality of Life

At Morning Pointe, we believe that staying connected with families leads to a higher quality of life for our residents. Family involvement brings added joy and creates a comforting sense of security for our residents. Studies show that seniors who maintain strong family connections experience improved mental and emotional health, and we see these positive effects every day within our communities.

By offering multiple communication pathways, Morning Pointe ensures that families feel connected and involved. We’re here to offer peace of mind, build relationships, and encourage a supportive, family-like environment. Our goal is to make communication as accessible as possible so that you can be there for your loved one as they experience the best care and enrichment we can provide.
