Morning Pointe Foundation Thanks Chattanooga Community Sponsors for Supporting Seniors Got Talent

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (August 17, 2026) — More than 550 people filled the Silverdale Center Creekside Theater for an evening celebrating the remarkable talents of local seniors — and thanks to the generosity of Chattanooga-area businesses and community supporters, the applause translated into more than $45,000 raised for the Morning Pointe Foundation.

The Foundation extends its sincere appreciation to sponsors including The Baldwin Group, First Horizon and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga School of Nursing, whose contributions helped make the 7th Annual Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent Chattanooga possible. Their support, combined with ticket purchases, donations and nearly $2,900 raised through People’s Choice Award voting, will help invest in healthcare professionals and the future of senior care across the Tennessee Valley and North Georgia.

“When local businesses invest in the Morning Pointe Foundation, they’re investing in something much bigger than a single event,” said Greg A. Vital, co-founder of the Morning Pointe Foundation. “They’re investing in the future of senior healthcare. Every scholarship we award helps prepare healthcare and service professionals who will support older adults and their families for decades to come, and every caregiver education program strengthens families right here in our communities. We’re incredibly grateful to each sponsor for believing in that mission.”

The Foundation recognizes the following sponsors for their generous support:

“Behind every contestant who stepped on stage and every scholarship that will be awarded is a community that chose to invest in the future of senior care,” said Miranda Perez, executive director of the Morning Pointe Foundation. “Our sponsors didn’t simply support an event—they made it possible. Their generosity allows us to continue to invest in healthcare professionals and in the future of senior care, while providing valuable education and resources for families caring for aging loved ones.”

Funds raised through Seniors Got Talent will support scholarships for students pursuing careers in healthcare and service-oriented fields at partner schools throughout the Tennessee Valley and North Georgia, including Tennessee College of Applied Technology–Athens, Tennessee College of Applied Technology–Chattanooga, Chattanooga State Community College, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Southern Adventist University, Cleveland State Community College and Dalton State College.

Beyond the fundraising impact, the evening gave more than 550 guests the opportunity to celebrate the talent, creativity and passion of older adults from throughout the region. Contestants age 60 and older took the stage to share the talents they love, inspiring the audience with performances filled with music, laughter and heart.

The Morning Pointe Foundation extends its heartfelt appreciation to every sponsor, contestant, volunteer, ticket holder and community supporter who helped make this year’s Seniors Got Talent Chattanooga a celebration worthy of the incredible people at its center.
