Morning Pointe locations throughout the state of Kentucky will be able to begin relaxing previously installed restrictions regarding limited indoor visitation for fully vaccinated residents in personal care communities effective today, February 22, 2021.
Morning Pointe will continue to follow Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines along with those from the Kentucky Department of Health for social distancing and the prevention and spread of COVID-19, including the use of facemasks at all times. Per CDC guidelines, people who have been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19 are not required to quarantine if they have been fully vaccinated against the disease within the last three months and show no symptoms.
Fully vaccinated is defined as at least 14 days following the receipt of an FDA-authorized COVID-19 vaccine, which includes both rounds of a 2-dose regimen or inoculation, per CDC guidelines. Visitors interested in scheduling an appointment at a Morning Pointe campus will need to call the building at least 24 hours in advance. The campus will advise individuals on the types of visitation available at that time. Depending on the location, visitation can occur in designated areas or a resident’s room while continuing to follow all CDC guidelines for COVID-19.

Upon arrival at the building, all visitors will need to review the Kentucky COVID-19 guidance and sign an acknowledgement of receipt. At entry, a visitor must provide either a copy of documentation showing proof of fully completing an FDA-authorized COVID-19 vaccination or receiving a negative COVID-19 test result (PCR or antigen) within 3 days prior to the visit.
