A Father’s Day Couch Conversation from Morning Pointe Senior Living

Fathers pass down so much to their children, and this Father’s Day, Morning Pointe Senior Living is celebrating the legacy of strength and wisdom that our resident fathers have bestowed.

While each dad has his own story, we sat in on a sweet father-daughter Couch Conversation between Morning Pointe resident Charles Highfield (age 90) and his daughter Jennifer Highfield. Together, they reminisced about their relationship from Jennifer’s childhood shouting “Daddy-O” in the middle of the church service that her minister father was leading, to how grateful they are for each other today.

“It means a great deal to me to be her father,” Charles said about Jennifer. “She has always been a wonderful daughter.”

Jennifer shared, “He’s been a fantastic father. I’m very lucky to have him, and I’m grateful every single day that I still have him.”

Thank you to all the fathers who are part of our Morning Pointe family, and to all the associates who help care for and give back to the fathers who have inspired us.
