Ruth Lowery and Mary Jenkins can’t wait to move back to their home at Morning Pointe of Chattanooga on Shallowford.You may remember, their assisted living community was severely damaged by the F3 tornado that struck Easter night. It also hit The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Chattanooga, just down the street.Now eight months later, their big move day is coming up – next month.Ruth is 92, and has lived at Morning Pointe of Chattanooga for four years. “I’ll be the first on the bus to leave here because my home is on Shallowford.” Both are temporarily living at Morning Pointe of East Hamilton in Ooltewah.Ann, on the right, is new to Morning Pointe.
