Balancing Budgets and Building Bonds: Morning Pointe Senior Living Celebrates its Administrative Professionals

photo of Administrative Professionals Day

At Morning Pointe Senior Living, our communities are vibrant, welcoming, and well-run thanks in large part to a group of special heroes, our administrative professionals. At Morning Pointe, they include business office directors, business office managers, and receptionists. On Administrative Professionals Day, April 23, we pause to recognize these important team members who keep our communities organized, our residents and families supported, and our teams running smoothly.

Whether they’re answering phones, helping with move-ins, managing billing and payroll, answering families’ financial questions, or simply greeting guests at the front door, administrative professionals bring consistency, compassion, and care to the details. Their roles may be behind the scenes, but their impact is felt front and center.

To celebrate, we’re sharing a special Couch Conversation between one of our cherished residents and their community’s business office manager. Their bond is a beautiful reminder that administration at Morning Pointe is about more than paperwork—it’s about people.

Kim Tipton, one of Morning Pointe Senior Living’s business office managers, is an example of how taking care of business goes hand in hand with the personal touch. She recently sat down with assisted living resident Bonnie Brown to share with us about what her role means to her and how she is able to build relationships.

“If somebody needs me, I’m there to help them,” Kim said. “Everyone has a story, and I love all of them.”

“You’re a great help to me,” Bonnie said. “I can see you helping other people, but you make me feel special.”

When the community was snowed in this winter, Bonnie invited Kim to stay in her apartment and sleep in her recliner. Kim accepted her offer and was impressed with her hospitality when she saw that Bonnie had left out a few items for her to use to freshen up, along with a handwritten note of appreciation.

“I get to serve others, and that really is a blessing for me,” Kim said.

Conclusion

From coordinating finances to creating connections, Morning Pointe’s administrative professionals are steady hands and kind hearts that make our communities feel like home. This Administrative Professionals Day, we thank them for their tireless work, their attention to detail, and—most of all—their love for the residents and families they serve.

To every business office director, manager, and receptionist across our campuses: we appreciate and celebrate you!
