Making Life Easier—for Herself and Her Family
Jackie Lindberg didn’t wait for a crisis to make a change. She chose to move to Morning Pointe of Danville, Kentucky, Assisted Living with her family’s peace of mind—and her own comfort—in mind.
“When I suddenly became ‘that age,’ I thought, ‘Alrighty, it’s time. I need to do something for myself,’” she shares. “It simply was a way of making my life much easier.”
Jackie had seen firsthand how moving to senior living benefited her own parents. When the time came, she knew she wanted the same sense of support and security. She made the decision intentionally and with care.
“I really enjoy living here,” Jackie says with a warm smile. “I chose to come to an assisted living place primarily because I wanted to take some of the pressure off of my children.”

Safety, Companionship, and Peace of Mind
At Morning Pointe, Jackie found everything she hoped for: daily meals she doesn’t have to cook, no more cleaning, and the joy of sharing her days with new friends. From organized activities to quiet independence, she values the freedom to choose how she spends her time, knowing assistance is always nearby if needed.
“My children know I’m safe. They can go on a two-week vacation and they know that I’m taken care of, and that is a huge, huge consideration for someone our age,” she explains.
For Jackie, moving to assisted living wasn’t about giving something up—it was about gaining something more. And today, she’s thriving in a community that feels like home.
