Morning Pointe of Franklin, Tennessee, Assisted Living, has named Jenna Wetherholt as its executive director.

In this role, Wetherholt oversees daily operations at the assisted living community located at 1005 Generations Way. She works with a team of directors, nurses, assistants and support staff to provide quality resident care and family support.

Wetherholt has 15 years of experience in senior living.

“I started volunteering at nursing homes and assisted living facilities in high school when I was competing in pageants,” said Wetherholt. “I fell in love with the elderly.”

Wetherholt started her career in senior living as an activities assistant at a nursing home, then became an activity director, then a marketing and admissions director and finally a licensed assisted living administrator. She has also been in regional roles.

“Jenna is a seasoned leader with a heart to serve,” said Tonie Venable, vice president of operations for Morning Pointe Senior Living’s Cumberland Region. “She carries a level of compassion and joy that allow our residents, families and associates to love being a part of our community. We are grateful for Jenna joining our Morning Pointe family and excited to have her on board.”

Wetherholt currently resides in her native town of Franklin, Tennessee. She has a degree in fashion merchandising and marketing from O’More School of Design and Middle Tennessee State University. She recently participated as a contestant in the 2024 Miss Tennessee USA pageant.

“I feel like I truly returned home,” Wetherholt shared. “My mom, Tammie Wetherholt, taught for decades in the Williamson County School District as a kindergarten and first grade teacher. From growing up in church with a lot of the residents, to my mom teaching many of their grandchildren, I have deep ties with many families here.”
