Jenniffer Spears was recently named executive director at The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Franklin.
In this role, Spears oversees day-to-day operations at the memory care community, located at 1015 Generations Way. She collaborates with a dedicated team of directors, nurses, nursing assistants and other support staff that focuses on fostering meaningful relationships and experiences for residents, as well as promoting their health, independence and well-being. As the leader at the community, she assists with training, mentoring and developing Morning Pointe associates.
Spears has worked for Morning Pointe Senior Living for more than seven years and recently served as senior business office director for the company’s Cumberland Region.

Originally from Nashville, Spears currently resides in Spring Hill. She and her husband, Chris, have two children: Madison and Preston. In her free time, she enjoys reading and vacationing in the mountains with her family.

The Lantern at Morning Pointe of Franklin offers memory care with clinical and nursing staff. Meals are served with dietician oversight in a restaurant-style setting and with an emphasis on fresh, local produce. Residents enjoy a full life enrichment activity program, including regular outings, service projects, intergenerational programming and engaging community partnerships. Physical, occupational and speech therapy services are also available on-site.
