Longtime Assisted Living Is Now Morning Pointe of Owensboro

Morning Pointe Senior Living, a regional senior living company, has acquired Heritage Place, a long-time assisted living community for seniors in Owensboro, Kentucky.

The community, located at 3362 Buckland Square, is now Morning Pointe of Owensboro Assisted Living. The company is planning a $2.5 million renovation with enhanced services and is accepting reservations for new residents. Renovations will start in September and are expected to be completed by the end of the year.

Morning Pointe of Owensboro is Morning Pointe Senior Living’s 39th community and its 12th in Kentucky. Other Kentucky communities are located in Louisville, Lexington, Danville, Frankfort, Richmond and Russell. The company has been operating in Kentucky for 20 years.

Morning Pointe Senior Living was founded in 1997 by Tennessee healthcare entrepreneurs Vital and Franklin Farrow, CEO. It owns and operates 38 assisted living and Alzheimer’s memory care communities in five southeastern states: Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama and Indiana.

Morning Pointe leaders are on-site to assist residents and their family members, as well as associates, with the exciting transition.

Programming includes a variety of life enrichment such as arts and crafts, wellness offerings such as exercise classes, and intergenerational activities, such as partnering with local schools. Residents also benefit from Morning Pointe’s Farm to Table program with local, farm-fresh and seasonal ingredients.
