CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (August 20, 2025) – The Morning Pointe Foundation’s 10th Annual Golf Tournament is officially back on the calendar for Monday, September 15, 2025, at the Lookout Mountain Club, Lookout Mountain, GA. Teams, sponsors, and supporters are ready to return to the course for a day of camaraderie and competition—all in support of scholarships for students. Originally delayed by heavy rains, this much-anticipated event is set to make an even bigger impact this fall.

This signature event helps fund scholarships for students at partner schools who are preparing for careers in nursing, therapy, social work, culinary arts, and related fields. Through the Morning Pointe Foundation, scholarships are awarded at local colleges and universities, including Chattanooga State Community College, TCAT Chattanooga, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Cleveland State Community College, and Dalton State College.
Twenty-eight teams will compete. The day kicks off with registration and breakfast at 7:30 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Participants will enjoy a day of spirited competition, including hole-in-one, longest drive, closest-to-the-hole, and putting contests. A variety of prizes will be awarded or up for bid at the silent auction, each generously donated by local businesses. The day will close out with an awards luncheon at 1 p.m.
“This tournament is more than just a great day on a beautiful green—it’s an opportunity to invest in the future of senior care,” said Miranda Perez, Morning Pointe Foundation executive director. “Every participant helps support a student working toward a career in nursing, rehabilitation therapy, social work, or other careers that serve the community. We are so grateful for the Chattanooga area’s continued support year after year. We look forward to making our 10th year even more impactful.”
Last year’s tournament raised a record-breaking $82,000, and the Foundation looks forward to surpassing that success this fall.
