Supporting a Vital Cause

Proceeds from the contest directly benefit the Morning Pointe Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that supports caregivers and senior healthcare professionals through educational programs and clinical scholarships.

“We had some fantastic winners at our shows this past season, and they really truly showed that seniors still have much to share when it comes to the performing arts and age is just a number,” said Miranda Perez, executive director of the Morning Pointe Foundation. “This contest is more than a showcase of that amazing talent — it’s a way to connect communities and support seniors and their caregivers across the Southeast.”

Founded in 2014 by senior healthcare entrepreneurs Greg A. Vital and Franklin Farrow, the Morning Pointe Foundation has awarded 146 scholarships to date. It is the philanthropic arm of Morning Pointe Senior Living, which operates 40 assisted living and Alzheimer’s memory care communities in five southeastern states.
