Event Includes Teen Volunteers and Introduction of New Volunteer Opportunities
OWENSBORO, Ky. (Nov. 24, 2025) — Morning Pointe of Owensboro Assisted Living is inviting the community to stop by for a slice of gratitude during its Friendsgiving Pie Giveaway on Monday, Nov. 24, from 2–5 p.m. at 3362 Buckland Square in Owensboro.
As a thank-you to Owensboro residents for their support and partnership, Morning Pointe will be giving away complimentary Thanksgiving pies to anyone who RSVPs in advance. Guests may choose between apple or pumpkin pie to take home and enjoy with family and friends ahead of the holiday.
The event will also highlight new ways for community members to get involved through volunteer opportunities at Morning Pointe.
A group of teenagers from Heritage Park High School will be on site to help prepare and box pies for guests as part of their seasonal community service activities.
“Morning Pointe is proud to be part of the Owensboro community, and this Friendsgiving event is simply our way of saying thank you,” said Karleigh Roby, Executive Director. “We look forward to welcoming neighbors into our building and sharing the spirit of the season together.”
