Spring Celebration Brings Free Easter Egg Hunt and Petting Zoo to Hardin Valley

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (March 11, 2026) — Spring will arrive with plenty of smiles and furry friends when Morning Pointe Senior Living hosts a free community Easter Egg Hunt and Petting Zoo on Friday, April 3 at its Hardin Valley campus.

Beginning at 11 a.m., the celebration will take place across both Morning Pointe of Hardin Valley Assisted Living and The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, creating a campus-wide gathering for residents, families, and the surrounding community at 2449 Reagan Rd., Knoxville, TN 37931.

Guests can enjoy a festive egg hunt along with a petting zoo featuring Highland cows, bunnies, and other friendly animals. The event is designed to welcome the season while creating moments of joy and connection between generations.

“We love hosting events that bring families, neighbors, and our residents together,” said Jordan Bolen, Lantern Program Director at The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Hardin Valley. “Spring is such a joyful time of year, and seeing the excitement around the egg hunt and the animals always creates special memories for everyone who attends.”

Morning Pointe communities frequently host open events that invite the public inside to experience the vibrant daily life residents enjoy. Seasonal celebrations such as Easter provide a fun and meaningful way for families to connect with seniors and experience the welcoming atmosphere of the campus.

The Easter Egg Hunt and Petting Zoo is free and open to the public, and local families are encouraged to attend.
