Twelve Acts Selected for Morning Pointe Foundation’s 7th Annual Seniors Got Talent Franklin Showcase

FRANKLIN, Tenn. (August 21, 2025) — The stage is set and the talent has been chosen! Twelve acts have been selected to perform in the Morning Pointe Foundation’s 7th Annual Seniors Got Talent Franklin showcase, returning to The Franklin Theatre on Tuesday, October 14, at 7 p.m.

This year’s finalists include an incredible mix of singers, musicians, and unique performers:

  • Chris Maze Musical Trio – Chris Maze (Lead Singer, 65), Joe Lawrence (Rhythm Guitar, 74), and Daniel Pierce (Lead Guitar and Bass Pedals, 74)
  • John Koski, 60 – Singer
  • Barry Cardinael, 77 – Pianist/Composer/Singer
  • Alicia Battle-Mahon, 74 – Singer
  • Dwaine Allison, 64 – Singing Guitarist
  • Gabe Lamog, 61 – Steel Drums Player
  • Gail Valorani, 69 – Singer
  • Billy Robbins, 66 – Singer
  • Brian Hanson, 69 – Singing Pianist
  • Randy Spencer (65) & Cathey Nelson (63) – Musical Duo
  • Diane Lynne, 61 – Singer
  • Lucius Talley, 86 – Percussionist

These finalists will compete on one of Tennessee’s most celebrated stages for:

  • $1,000 – First Place
  • $500 – Second Place
  • $250 – Third Place
  • People’s Choice Award (determined by audience vote)

“We have sold out at our show for the last two years, and it seems like each year, the talent just gets better and better,” said Miranda Perez, Morning Pointe Foundation executive director. “We can’t wait to cheer on this year’s finalists. And besides celebrating our performers, we are celebrating that dozens of deserving students have benefitted directly from the funds raised at Seniors Got Talent Franklin.”

Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent isn’t just a celebration of timeless talent—it’s also a powerful fundraiser for the Morning Pointe Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to advancing senior care through education and community partnerships. Proceeds from sponsorships, ticket sales, and People’s Choice votes directly support scholarships in nursing and allied health fields at schools across Tennessee, including TCAT–Williamson, Motlow State Community College, and Columbia State Community College.

The Foundation hosts four Seniors Got Talent shows each year. Besides Franklin, shows are held in Tennessee in Chattanooga and Knoxville, as well as in Lexington, Kentucky.

The Morning Pointe Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Morning Pointe Senior Living, founded by senior healthcare entrepreneurs Greg A. Vital and J. Franklin Farrow. The nonprofit was created in 2014 and has bestowed more than 146 scholarships in the Southeast to date.
