ATHENS, Tenn. — March 5, 2025 —The 3rd Annual Women’s Conference, themed “God Is in This Story,” will take place Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Keith Memorial United Methodist Church in Athens. The event is hosted by Morning Pointe of Athens and will serve as a fundraiser benefiting scholarships through the Morning Pointe Foundation.

Doors will open at 11:00 a.m., with lunch served at noon and the conference program immediately following. The event is open to the public.

Crystal Sutton, Executive Director at Morning Pointe of Athens, will host the conference. The event will include worship led by Amber Cook, Worship Leader and Family Nurse Practitioner at Silver Ridge Baptist Church, along with a message from Kristy Stafford, Director of Nursing at Morning Pointe of Athens.

“God is in every chapter of our lives, even the ones we don’t fully understand at the time,” said Crystal Sutton, Executive Director at Morning Pointe of Athens. “This conference is a chance for women to gather, share encouragement, and be reminded that their story matters. It also gives our community the opportunity to invest in students pursuing careers in nursing, physical therapy, social work, and culinary arts through the Morning Pointe Foundation scholarships.”

Tickets are $15 and include lunch. Conference T-shirts will be available for $20 during presale, with a limited quantity available at the door. To purchase tickets or learn more, call Morning Pointe of Athens at (423) 745-0608.

Proceeds from the event will support scholarships awarded through the Morning Pointe Foundation in the fields of nursing, physical therapy, social work, and culinary arts. The Foundation’s mission is to advance the care and strengthen the delivery of senior services for generations to come.

The Foundation partners with several colleges and universities across the Tennessee Valley to provide scholarship opportunities, including Cleveland State Community College, Chattanooga State Community College, Southern Adventist University, The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, TCAT Athens, TCAT Chattanooga, and Tennessee Wesleyan University.

Community members are invited to attend, enjoy fellowship and encouragement, and help invest in the education of future professionals.
