Healthy Is Happy: A Community Morning Focused on Wellness

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — March 5, 2026—Morning Pointe of Tuscaloosa Senior Living is welcoming the public to “A World of Wellness” Health & Wellness Fair on Wednesday, March 18, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

With the message “We Want You to Be Healthy,” the event is designed to provide practical tools and helpful resources in a relaxed, welcoming setting. Local healthcare vendors will be on-site offering general wellness checks, blood pressure screenings, helpful health information, and samples of healthy snacks.

“We want this to be an encouraging and informative morning for our community,” said Sharon Hollie, Lantern Program Director at Morning Pointe of Tuscaloosa. “Sometimes the most important step in caring for yourself is simply showing up and getting informed. Healthy truly is happy, and we’re excited to provide a space where people can feel supported.”

The event will be held indoors at Morning Pointe of Tuscaloosa, located at 1801 Rice Mine Rd N. Community members of all ages are invited to attend at no cost.

Morning Pointe of Tuscaloosa provides assisted living and memory care services with licensed, clinical, or care staff available 24 hours a day.
