Carol Pahde was recently named executive director at The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Clinton, Tennessee.

In this role, Pahde oversees day-to-day operations at the memory care community, located at 960 S. Charles G. Seivers Blvd. She collaborates with a dedicated team of directors, nurses, nursing assistants and other support staff that focuses on fostering meaningful relationships and experiences for residents, as well as promoting their health, independence and well-being. As the leader at the community, she assists with training, mentoring and developing Morning Pointe Senior Living associates.

Pahde has spent the majority of her career in hospitals, starting in admissions. She has a master’s degree in nursing with an emphasis in leadership from the University of Memphis.

“I enjoy working with the residents – it is so rewarding,” said Pahde. “My mother was in a Morning Pointe Lantern community and had good care. I want to make sure we give all residents the care I expected my mother to have.”

Pahde grew up in Cleveland, Tennessee, and currently resides in Knoxville with her husband. She has three children and four grandchildren, and in her free time, she enjoys golfing and traveling.

“Carol is a wonderful addition to our team in Clinton, with her nursing background and caring spirit,” said Josh Lowe, vice president of operations for Morning Pointe Senior Living’s Smoky Region. “Our residents and their families, as well as our associates, appreciate the leadership and passion she brings.”
