Families Find a New Home for Memory Care: The Lantern at Morning Pointe of East Hamilton Hosts Grand Opening July 17

The wait is over—and a new chapter of hope in memory care has begun in East Hamilton. The community is invited to celebrate the Grand Opening of The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, East Hamilton—a vibrant, state-of-the-art addition to one of the region’s most trusted names in senior living. Morning Pointe Senior Living will host the Grand Opening Celebration on Thursday, July 17, from 4 to 7 p.m., with a formal program and ribbon-cutting at 4:30 p.m.

Over the past month, families have already chosen The Lantern as a new home for their loved ones, drawn by its thoughtful clinical care, structured support, and emphasis on meaningful relationships. This week’s celebration offers a special opportunity for the broader community to experience this new resource firsthand and connect with the compassionate professionals behind it.

Guests are invited to explore the thoughtfully designed campus, which features two distinct levels of memory care. The Lamplight is a spacious area for residents with early-stage Alzheimer’s and dementia who are more active, while The Lantern wing offers a more intimate and quiet space designed for those with more advanced stages. Tour these environments, meet the expert care team, and discover how Morning Pointe is redefining what memory care can look and feel like in East Hamilton County.

The July 17 event will feature remarks from local and state leaders, healthcare professionals, and family members who have already embraced the community’s supportive environment. It’s a chance to celebrate the growth of memory care services on the east side of Hamilton County—and the warm, welcoming culture that sets Morning Pointe apart.

“As the need for memory care continues to grow across East Hamilton County and beyond, Morning Pointe remains committed to being a trusted partner for families facing the challenges of Alzheimer’s and dementia,” said Greg A. Vital, Morning Pointe Senior Living co-founder. “This new community is not just about providing care—it’s about creating a place of comfort, connection, and peace of mind. We are honored to walk alongside and support families during one of life’s most challenging journeys.”
