Lexington Director Honored with Morning Pointe’s Life Enrichment & Alzheimer’s Programming Award

Lexington, KY — December 10, 2025 — Morning Pointe Senior Living, which operates 42 communities and employs more than 2,000 associates across five states, is celebrating one of its own this year as Dawn Pittman, Lantern Program Director at The Lantern at Morning Pointe of Lexington, received the organization’s Exceeding Expectations Award in Life Enrichment & Alzheimer’s Programming at the Annual Holiday Party & Awards Banquet.

For six years, Dawn has brought creativity, compassion, and heart to every moment inside the Lexington Lantern’s memory care community. From themed days to meaningful one-on-one connections, she fills each day with purpose, dignity, and joy—ensuring every resident feels seen, known, and valued. Reflecting on the recognition, she shared, “honestly, I’m still in shock. I never expected this — being recognized as this means so much to me.”

Executive Director Chase Williams added, “Dawn pours her whole heart into our residents. Her warmth and dedication lift our entire community, and we are truly grateful to have her on our team.”
