LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 14, 2022) – Michael Lehman has been named the new executive director at Morning Pointe of Lexington-East. Lehman will oversee daily operations at the senior living campus, located at 150 Shoreside Drive, which includes both personal care and Alzheimer’s memory care. Morning Pointe of Lexington-East is one of three Morning Pointe Senior Living communities in the greater Lexington area. Founded in 1997 by healthcare entrepreneurs Greg A. Vital and J. Franklin Farrow, Morning Pointe operates 36 communities in five southeastern states.

“It is my life’s joy to create impactful relationships with others, and I love serving seniors as they enter this stage of retirement,” said Lehman. “I make it a mission to enrich lives and give back to my residents and associates through meaningful interactions.”

Lehman has worked in senior living for over 17 years, most recently as an executive director at Independence Village senior living communities. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Public Policy from Indiana University. Additionally, he has a PLA-RCAL license from the state of Indiana.

“I am pleased to welcome Michael into the Morning Pointe family of leaders,” said Staci Dennis, regional vice president of operations for Morning Pointe. “His depth of experience in senior living combined with a demonstrated ability to lead will help further the tradition of excellence at Morning Pointe of Lexington-East.”

When Lehman isn’t working, you can find him enjoying the great outdoors on his motorcycle, traveling with his dog, Gus, and spending time with friends and family.
