Seniors Got Talent Best of the Best image 2024

For the third year in a row, the Morning Pointe Foundation will run a Best of the Best contest in which the public can vote on their favorite winner from the four Seniors Got Talent showcases in 2024.

Voting starts Wednesday, Jan. 1, and will run through Jan. 31. Votes are cast online in the form of donations to the Morning Pointe Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that provides caregiver support programs, sponsors educational awareness events, and funds clinical scholarships to advance the care of seniors throughout the Southeast.

Each grand-prize winner from the variety shows in Chattanooga, Franklin, and Knoxville, Tennessee, as well as Lexington, Kentucky, is in the running for the Best of the Best title.

Contestants are:

  • Susan Taylor, singer – Chattanooga, TN
  • The Overtones, barbershop quartet – Lexington KY
  • Judy Street and Jim Kirby, singer and pianist – Franklin, TN
  • Pistol Creek Catch of the Day, three-piece band – Knoxville, TN

To watch clips of each of their performances and vote, visit morningpointefoundation.com/events/seniors-got-talent/contest/. Donations can be as little as $1, but the winner will be determined by total amount donated in their name.

The winner will be announced on Monday, Feb. 3 and will receive four tickets to a Seniors Got Talent show of their choice, their full performance posted across all Morning Pointe Senior Living social media pages, an exclusive winner interview video and the Best of the Best title.

“Every year, the talent keeps getting better,” said Miranda Perez, Morning Pointe Foundation executive director. “Each of our four winning acts really blew away both our audience and the judges, and now we are giving everyone the chance to vote for their own favorites, while continuing to support current and future caregivers through the Morning Pointe Foundation.”
